This piece depicts a empty diner on an alien planet with ships sitting in the dimly lit parting lot.
This was the final project for my Draw 101 class. I was tasked with designing and rendering an imaged 3d space using 2 point perspective. I wanted a fun, whimsical environment inspired by retro futurism, and found the inside of a retro diner the perfect inspiration to mix perspective and style with.
I was also required to make thumbnails of other possible environments, as well as a refined sketch of the final choice before beginning work on the project itself.
