This poster was a project for my cartooning class. We were told to make this as if we had been hired by an event to create a poster for it, and could choose any type of event.
An avid lover of Houston and its connection to NASA, as well as an enjoyer of Space Center Houston's Christmas events, I decided to make a poster for their Christmas event. The event is fun, but also elegant, and I wanted to reflect that in my poster design. I decided to stray a bit from my typical cartooning style and explore a more graphic composition, blending the forms of a Christmas tree and a rocket launch. All information on the poster is accurate for their 2022 advertising shown on their website. This poster is unofficial.
