This is a project worked on over 10 weeks developing my own cartoon and taking it through every step of the design process, including characters, environment, story, and culminating in a full storyboard for a scene from it.
Each stage presented a new challenge, but proved to be very rewarding for a story I am very passionate about.

One of the first things after character design was finished was the creation of turnarounds for the main characters. This part was honestly a fun challenge that had a result I am proud of.
Below is expression and pose exploration to establish how the characters move and emote. This was one of my favorite phases of the project, as the characters really began to come to life at this stage.
