Originally inked for an earlier class, I was able to revisit these inks in my coloring class to apply what we had been studying about CYMK coloring and coloring principles. I was not allowed to use the K value while coloring these pages, forcing me to rely on color theory for the shadows and tones.
Adding lighting and special light sources proved to be one of my favorite aspects of the projects, while making the characters pop from the background proved the most challenging. I am very happy with how this comic was revitalized by the use of color.
